Approximately 600 Nichols College students in Dudley, Mass., have achieved Dean's List or Dean's High Honors during the fall 2018 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean's List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester. New York Institute of Technology recognizes five interior design students whose team came first at the "Elements of Style" textile design challenge. The contest was sponsored by the American Society of Interior Designers and Kravet, distributor of fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, trimmings, carpets, and accessories; it was held at The New York Design Center.

Lasell Student Merges Textile Technique with Historic Costume Trends
Under the mentorship of noted fashion historian Edward Maeder, 38 students apprenticed the technique of creating paper textiles and applied it their study of historic fashion trends. The finished garments are on display in the Donahue Center for the Creative and Applied Arts at Lasell College.

Husson University Announces Scholarship Recipients
Husson University is pleased to share their 2018 annual list of merit scholarship recipients. Merit scholarships at Husson University are awarded on the basis of academic achievement. According to a recent analysis by U.S News & World Report, Husson University is the least expensive private four-year college in New England. In addition, the University provides significant amounts of financial aid. Husson awarded over $14 million in institutional funded grants and scholarships to deserving students during the 2017-2018 academic year.

In partnership with Regis College, Lasell students premiered a production of Footloose: The Musical on Thursday, November 15. The theatrical collaboration paired students from both colleges for a five-show run at Regis' Eleanor Welch Casey Theatre.
